Rhodesian ridgebacks are big dogs. Yes, they are! Even owners call them "little sweethearts". :)

Rhodesian ridgeback male can reach 68 cm of height (measuring at the withers). Some dogs can be even higher. Females are smaller, their height is up to 65 cm.

Knowing that Rhodesian ridgeback gonna be a big dog, smart owners start early trainings of dog management and definitely doesn't forget the strong input from socialisation.

When we go for a walk in forest, dogs are allowed to run without a leash. But if we notice that somebody is approaching us, we always call our dogs back and put them on leashes. It's simple respect to other persons, cause they do not know our dogs and their friendly personalities.
